The Norfolk Retreat
Legal Obligation of Information Release
The Norfolk Retreat will release any information that is required to be released by law or court order. In exceptional circumstances it may be necessary that we disclose your personally identifiable information if we believe, in good faith, that disclosure is otherwise necessary or advisable to protect The Norfolk Retreat’s interests. We will seek to ensure that any proposed disclosure is required in the circumstances and then ensure that we disclose only the information that is required.
Your Personal Data
The Norfolk Retreat stores the following information on paper (non-electronic) about its customers:
• Information that you provide during any voluntary or mandatory registration process which includes therapy treatments and classes (such as first and last name, email address, phone number, home address, medical details). This includes any information obtained via registration form, therapy consultation form or queries via text message, email or via the online enquiry form at www.thenorfolkretreat.co.uk. All forms are stored in a lockable filing cabinet and kept for seven (7) years from date of signature.
Use of Your Information
The Norfolk Retreat obtains most of our information through the signing of consultation forms. Under no circumstances do we sell participant or personal information to others. Please note that we will not share health information that may have been provided in connection with a therapy treatment or class. With your consent, we may use certain information to provide you with information about The Norfolk Retreat. This consent is optional and you can decide to withdraw it at any time.
Information collected by The Norfolk Retreat about its users is used internally by The Norfolk Retreat only for the following reasons:
• Collection of information on a Holistic Wellness Class Registration Form and Therapy Treatment consultation//waiver form including first name, last name, home address, telephone number, email address, emergency contact details, medical history, allergies, current medical condition including injuries or recent operations, prescribed medication and signature.
The Norfolk Retreat Communications
As a therapy treatment client, you will receive information and updates from The Norfolk Retreat on a regular basis. This may include information on future classes/workshops, events, retreats, free classes and newsletters. We do our utmost to ensure these updates are relevant and we are mindful to not spam your inbox.
To unsubscribe from such communications, email firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘UNSUBSCRIBE’ in the subject heading and your email address will be removed from the group list.
